I sucked it up and wore them anyway; upon my arrival to school I was taunted and beaten to a pulp by this bully named Juan who was a 15 year old sixth grader. He repeated these actions for the next 9 school days. When day 10 arrived and it was time for my daily beating I just merely turned around and used the pointed “unisex” toe of the boot and punted him right in the crotch… The poor guy fell right over with about 50 witnesses. Juan never messed with me again after that, and I never wore those boots again. I learned a valuable lesson from that experience, there is no such thing as unisex.

Z Factor 2011

Back in May of 2011, the blueprint for the Z Factor karaoke competition was created. Everybody at both the venue and the station were nervous about how it would turnout (myself included) however; it ended up being a packed house at CJ’s Suds South for the entire month of August and people from as far away as Texas came to watch the show.
Not only was it a competition but it was a way of life and people enjoyed themselves genuinely. That is one of the main reasons I got into this business, making people smile.

Post Irene I.

So I have always wanted to really blog, but felt that nobody would find me interesting.
I have to share that over the past week I have felt extremely upset about what has happened with Hurricane Irene and not being able to help the way. It really made me
assess what my role in this whole media thing is Especially in the age of Facebook. Tonight while trying to cheer myself up I went to a local pub and a listener whom I never met before that night randomly walked up to me and told me that they listen all the time and how I have positively effected their day. Even in the age of Social Media, people still have a love for what we do :)
